Giannis Antetokounmpo has exhibited his Nigerian cultural dancing skills during the premiere of movie, Naija Odyssey.

The Milwaukee Bucks player, who is having an incredible NBA season, attended the movie launch of the Nigerian-produced film.

In a video posted on social media, the 27-year-old could not help joining other Nigerians in portraying his cultural heritage.

Antetokounmpo was born to Nigerian parents in Athens, before he moved to America to follow his basketball dreams.

In 2021, after winning the Most Valuable Player award, Antetokounmpo also led the Bucks to NBA Championship success for the first time in 40 years.

Milwaukee Bucks beat the Phoenix Suns 4-2 in the best of seven series to emerge champions.

In the new NBA season, the Bucks are 9-0, and remain the only team to have not lost a game.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that 24-year-old Antetokounmpo, who plays for Milwaukee Bucks, was impressive throughout the season for his club and received 78 of the 101 possible first-place votes.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is now the youngest MVP in eight years in NBA history, as he defeated last year's winner James Harden to the award.

In receiving the award, Giannis paid an emotional tribute to his late dad who migrated to Greece from Lagos in 1980s and died in 2017.

Legendary NBA player LeBron James has paid homage to rapper Takeoff, who was shot and killed last week in Houston, Sports Brief has reported.

James rocked a matching suit before the game against Cleveland Cavaliers, as part of paying his last respects to the musician.

After the 100-114 defeat to his former side, James took the opportunity during the post game to eulogise Takeoff and pay respects.
