Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green has officially apologised to his teammate Jordan Poole following a heated training ground row last week.
Green was seen punching Poole in an incident that elicited widespread reactions from the NBA community.
The Bleacher Report reports that the four-time NBA winner also announced that he intends to take a few days off.
"I was wrong for my actions that took place on Wednesday and for that, I have apologized to my team. I have apologized to Jordan"

Green and Poole were involved in an altercation last week that saw the latter end up on the deck. It remains unclear how long Green will be away, given that GSW are scheduled to begin their preseason matches ahead of their title defence tip-off against Lakers on October 18th.
Golden State Warrior's general manager Bob Myers had earlier confirmed that Green had actually apologised to the team.
Myers then confirmed that the team would make a decision on any other subsequent disciplinary actions that would follow. The decisions would be made internally
A video of the incident surfaced online
Sports Brief had earlier reported that a video of the incident had sensationally leaked a few days after news broke of Golden State Warriors All-Star Draymond Green punching his teammate Jordan Poole.

The Warriors were intensifying their training before the NBA tip-off on October 18 against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Stephen Curry-led team now have to grapple with an incident which threatens to damage team dynamics as their Warriors try to defend the title they won in July.
