Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor is no stranger to taking a hit but is thankful for having survived the latest one.
The Notorious is counting his lucky stars after he was hit by a motor vehicle while riding his bicycle.
McGregor took to his Instagram to share a photo of his bike in the middle of the road, explaining that he was just hit by a motorist who didn't see him due to the sun obscuring his view.
McGregor also shared two videos after the incident, the first detailing what happened while surveying the scene and the second in the man's vehicle.

McGregor asked the motorist for a lift back and shot the second video inside the car, first asking the man's name before saying how thankful he was to God for having survived the accident.
As noted by The Mirror, McGregor is in negotiations with the UFC for a return in 2023. Nate Diaz, Michael Chandler and Justin Gaethje have been listed as potential opponents by his coach.

Conor McGregor has declared interest in buying Liverpool after the club was reportedly put up for sale by American owners Fenway Sports Group.
McGregor confirmed via his official Twitter handle that he would be interested in taking over the Merseyside club.
The Irishman is, however, a known Manchester United fan and it would be interesting if he were to take over United's sworn rivals.
