Brandon Moreno is the undisputed Flyweight champion.
The Mexican fighter beat Brazil’s Deiveson Figueiredo in an eagerly anticipated co-main event at UFC 283.
The two flyweight stars were meeting for the fourth time in the Octagon as they sought to prove once and for all who the best in the business was.
The first round proved to be a cagey affair as neither fighter wanted to rush too much into it. Moreno appeared more confident and, in his element, as he landed more shots and ended the first round on top.

Figueiredo came back stronger in the second and even hooked in a deep heel hook but Moreno fought out of it.
The third round he tried to hook in a choke but Moreno fought out again and punished Figueiredo with a devastating punch. The blow landed clean, despite Figueiredo’s protests, and cut the Brazilian under his left eye.
After the round ended, doctors checked out Figueiredo and found that he couldn’t see out of his left eye, forcing a stoppage of the fight.
Moreno was declared undisputed champion as a result, but fans were not happy.
Many felt that the blow was illegal and unhappy that their home fighter lost in such a fashion.
Fans threw objects at Moreno and the UFC security had to rush the Mexican out of the arena as fans voiced their unhappiness.

Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno are looking to settle the debate over who the best flyweight in the UFC is.
The respective Brazilian and Mexican fighters have clashed on three previous occasions and are getting ready for a historic fourth fight at UFC 283.
The two fighters each hold a victory over the other, with a third bout ending in draw, Sports Brief reported.
