FootballCiryl Gane Invites PSG’s Kylian Mbappe to Attend UFC Heavyweight Title Fight Against Jon Jones
- Ciryl Gane will get a second crack at the UFC Heavyweight belt, this time against a returning Jon Jones.
- Gane has fought 11 times in the UFC and only lost one bout, that being a title fight against Francis Ngannou.
- Kylian Mbappe and Gane are good friends, and the MMA star hopes to have the PSG attacker's support at UFC 285.
Ciryl Gane is gearing up for the chance to fight for the UFC Heavyweight title once again.
The Frenchman will meet a returning Jon Jones at UFC 285 in March for the vacant title.
The title was vacated after the UFC stripped Francis Ngannou of the belt and released him from the organization.
The matchup between Jones and Gane was then made, with both fighters going into the bout with only one loss each.

As noted by UFC Stats, Gane has won 11 fights and only lost one, while Jones has won 26 and only lost one match via disqualification.
With Gane chasing history in March, the Frenchman is hoping to have some star power supporting him, in the form of Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.
As noted by Sports Illustrated, Gane invited the French star to attend the title fight against Jones.
“Mbappé is a great friend, and he and many other French football players want to come to my fight. A lot depends on their schedule in March, but my coach, Fernand Lopez, has invited many of the players,” he said.
It's not the first time that Gane has extended an invite to Mbappe either.
Last year he invited Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi to attend his fight against Tai Tuivasa at UFC Paris, SportsKeeda reported.

FootballJon 'Bones' Jones will make his long-awaited return to the UFC in March, Sports Brief has reported.
Bones will compete at UFC 285, where he will fight for the heavyweight title vacated by Ngannou earlier this month.
The 35-year-old former light heavyweight champion last fought in December 2020, in a title defence against Dominik Reyes.
Ngannou stripped of title
Francis 'The Predator' Ngannou is no longer the UFC Heavyweight Champion.
The Cameroon national has not fought in the Octagon since he defended the title against Ciryl Gane at UFC 270 in January 2022.
Ngannou underwent surgery to treat a knee injury he sustained during the fight and was negotiating with the UFC during that time over a new contract.
