Cameron Saaiman would love to see South Africa host a UFC pay-per-view.
The South African MMA fighter made the admission during the post-match press conference after UFC 282.
Saaiman made his debut on the card in Las Vegas, stopping Steven Koslow in the third round, winning the fight by TKO.
Speaking after the fight, Saaiman talked about the possibility of his home country hosting an event, saying that there was nowhere else in Africa the UFC should go to, MMA Junkie reported.

"You guys will have an amazing time there. We have the best country on earth."
As previously reported by Give Me Sport, UFC president Dana White said that hosting an event in Africa was a priority for 2023.
The continent boasts numerous fighters in the promotion, including the current UFC Heavyweight Champion, Francis Ngannou. Ngannou is a native of Batié, Cameroon.
South Africa also plays host to the EFC, Africa's premier mixed martial arts promotion. Numerous fighters have gone on from competing in EFC events to being signed by the UFC.
How Saaiman secured UFC victory
Cameron 'MSP' Saaiman was described as the future by UFC President Dana White, and it's easy to see why.
Saaiman secured a TKO victory over Steven Koslow in his promotional debut at UFC 282 in Las Vegas.
The South African and Koslow put on an instant classic in their early prelim bout, as each tried to finish the fight in style, Sports Brief reported.

Dricus du Plessis is still undefeated in the UFC.
The South African fighter secured a submission victory at UFC 282, beating Darren Till in Round 3, Sports Brief reported.
The third round was a more subdued start for either fighter, as they tried to pick their spots. Du Plessis landed more jabs before going back to the ground, getting Till's back and locking in a rear naked choke to make the Briton submit.
