TS Galaxy coach, Sead Ramovic, put professional rivalries aside when he and a few players visited Paseka Mako in hospital.
The Orlando Pirates defender was hospitalised during the week after suffering a nasty collision with Ghanaian teammate Richard Ofori.
Mako was knocked unconscious and had to be rushed to a hospital. Coach Fadlu Davids confirmed that the player was unconscious at first and then started breathing, Sport24 reported.
Orlando Pirates updated the player’s current status, confirming that he suffered a fracture to the face and nose. He is currently in a stable condition in high care and is already receiving visitors.
TS Galaxy shared photos of Ramovic and players visiting Mako in hospital in a post on their Twitter account. The club captioned the photo, saying:
“We may be opponents during the 90 minutes but we are brothers for life. The entire @TSGALAXYFC Family wishes you a speedy recovery.”
Numerous well wishes have poured in for Mako since his horror accident.
Al Ahly coach, Pitso Mosimane, also shared an emotional message with the player during his recovery. Upon hearing that the player was recovering Pitso took to Twitter to share his relief, The South African confirmed.
“Thank God, he made it. We wish him a speedy recovery,” Pitso said.
