The Three Lions are currently concerned over the fitness of Harry Kane.
Sky Sports reported that Kane will have a scan on his ankle today (Wednesday, November 23) to see whether he will be fit before England’s next game against the United States.

What happened to Kane?
As noted by the BBC, Kane suffered a knock during their 6-2 win over Iran. The incident occurred during the second half, and Kane was later substituted and replaced with Callum Wilson. He was then seen with some strapping on his ankle.
Cause for concern?
England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford believes there’s no reason to worry about Kane’s fitness. The keeper said that Kane was sore but fine and trained with the team on Wednesday.
Notable names missing
If Kane does miss the rest of the tournament, he won’t be the first player to have their dreams crushed through injury.
Sadio Mane and Karim Benzema are sitting out of the global spectacle in Qatar through injury. French defender Lucas Hernandez suffered an injury during Les Bleus game against Australia and will also be forced to sit out.

Kane went down under a hefty challenge in the second half, but played on until later in the game when coach Southgate decided to remove him for Callum Wilson.
