On the night of Monday, October 31, hundreds of partygoers took to the streets to celebrate Halloween, but Daily Mail reports that some fans decided it was the perfect opportunity to shake up the Tottenham team.

Corrieredellosport.it further reports that two loud explosions were reportedly heard near the hotel where Spurs players were staying, prompting an emergency meeting at 10:30 am on Tuesday, with the key agenda being the players’ safety.

Tottenham players should expect a hostile reception when they take on Marseille in their final Champions League group game, as the French fans are infamous for their unruly behaviour.

Only two points separate the two teams, ahead of the final game in a group of which any of the four teams could proceed to the knockout stages.

The other game in Group D will see Sporting Lisbon host Eintracht Frankfurt in what promises to be another cracker.

Tottenham will have to play the game without their manager Conte, who received his marching orders after reportedly calling out the referee, after a last-minute goal against Sporting Lisbon was ruled out for offside last week.

Elsewhere, Sports Brief also reported on a warning given by former Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez to Tottenham Hotspur, heading into the team's clash with Olympique Marseille on November 1.

Sanchez enjoyed playing against Arsenal's nemesis, scoring three goals in 11 matches against Tottenham. He is reportedly looking to inflict more hurt on the team and his former manager, Antonio Conte in their upcoming UEFA Champions League encounter.

"I have great affection for Arsenal from my time there. Beating Spurs every time was a great joy; it was very special and they are days I will always cherish."
