Leeds vs Chelsea: The Blues out to protect top three slot after recent slump
FootballTottenham Hotspur Chasing UEFA Champions League Qualification Against Already Relegated Norwich City Outfit
- Norwich City have already been relegated but they can still finish one place above the bottom of the table
- Tottenham Hotspur needs just a draw or a win to secure the final UEFA Champions League qualifying spot
- Arsenal will be hoping that Norwich City beat Tottenham Hotspur while they beat Everton to secure fourth place
Norwich City’s last game in England’s topflight will see them welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Carrow Road.
The Canaries are bottom of the table and will be relegated at the end of the season, no matter what the other results are.
Form coming into the game
Norwich have not had the best form of late, losing five games in a row, but did manage a draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers in their last game, SportsMole confirmed. Tottenham on the other hand have not lost in their last five games, winning three and drawing two of them.
What a win would mean for either team
Norwich know that they will be playing in England’s first division next season but a win could see them jump up to 19th place. Currently, Watford occupies 19th place, a point above Norwich, but the Hornets must face a tough trip to take on Chelsea in their final game. While both teams will be relegated no matter what, finishing at the bottom of the table means earning £2.2m less in Premier League prize money, Sports Illustrated reported. Tottenham on the other hand needs just a draw or a win to secure fourth place and the final Champions League qualification spot ahead of Arsenal.
Team news and injuries
Norwich could be without Billy Gilmour and Ben Gibson for the final game of the season. Both players will need to be assessed ahead of the game. On the other hand Andrew Omobamidele, Adam Idah, Kenny McLean, Joshua Sargent, Ozan Kabak and Christoph Zimmermann will definitely not be available through injuries.

Son Heung Min's pursuit of Premier League golden boot dealt major blow after Conte's blunt statement
Heung min Son has been dealt a blow in his pursuit for the Premier League golden boot as Antonio Conte confirmed Harry Kane would remain on set-piece duty ahead of the last round of matches on Sunday.
Son is currently enjoying his best-ever season in the Premier League, having netted 21 goals in the campaign so far. More impressively, none of his 21 goals has been from the penalty spot, and the South Korean is closely behind top scorer Mohammed Salah in the charts.
Son will try to overtake Salah when Tottenham Hotspur play Norwich City on Sunday, but he will have to do it from open play, as he has done the entire campaign so far, Sports Brief earlier reported.
