Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte is reportedly confident that he will succeed Mauricio Pochettino at Paris Saint Germain from next season in a stunning new development.
The former Inter Milan boss, who only took charge of Spurs in November, is reportedly eyeing the PSG job as pressure continues to mount on Pochettino.
According to Le Parisien, the Italian has reportedly told PSG bosses that he would like to manage the club, prompting the club to add him to the list of possible options to replace the embattled Pochettino.
Despite being en route to the Ligue 1 title, Pochettino has come under pressure because of his failure to deliver Champions League glory to the French capital.
The Parisians were once again knocked out of the competition in the last 16, this time losing to semi-finalists Real Madrid.
While it is hard to imagine Conte leaving Tottenham so soon, he might be tempted to walk away if Spurs chairman Daniel Levy opts for a restricted transfer budget.
