Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman was on Sunday night, 15 January, in the best form of his life netting a brace for Atalanta in their 8-2 win over Salernitana.
After missing Atalanta’s win at Bologna last week as he was left on the bench for the entire duration of the game, Lookman returned to his side's starting lineup and he did not disappoint.
It was an incredible night for the Nigerian striker ans his teammates who are now occupying sixth position on the table after 18 games.
When did Lookman score?
Jeremie Boga scored the first goal for Atalanta in the 5th minute before Nigerian star Lookman doubled the lead in the 20th minute.

Lookman got his second goal for Atalanta in the 54th minute as they recorded perfect 8-2 win over their visitors.
He has reached a career-high nine league goals and only Victor Osimhen with 12 has scored more Serie A goals than Lookman this season.
Lookman is expected to be invited into the Super Eagles team when the qualifiers for the AFCON resumes later this year.

Lookman, who successfully completed his switch from England to Nigeria, made his Super Eagles debut against the Black Stars of Ghana in Kumasi last Friday.
