Former Super Eagles captain Jay-Jay Okocha has claimed that African teams going to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will struggle in the global tournament, which will kick off in November.
The FIFA World Cup is rated as the biggest football tournament on earth, and the joy of all professional players is to represent their nation in the competition.
Okocha played for the Super Eagles in 3 World Cup tournaments, even though the former Bolton Wanderers star was unable to take his nation far.

According to the report on Complete Sports, Okocha made it clear that all these African teams will struggle to make an impact at the World Cup.
Okocha's statement about African teams
“It’s the first time I’m not confident about Africa’s chances in the World Cup. If you look at Asia and North America, they seem stronger and more advanced than us," he was quoted as per the report.
"We were already 50 paces behind South America and Europe, and now North America and Asia seem to be ahead of us," he added.
United, Arsenal, Bayern want Osimhen
