Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has recorded his name in the history books of the Champions League after scoring all goals for Bodo Glimt in their 3-0 victory over Klaksvik in preliminaries.
Victor Boniface's incredible performance on Wednesday night, 6 July, now makes him the first player to score a hat-trick for a Norwegian club since 2007.

Boniface now enters the record books as only the second Nigerian to score a UCL hat-trick after Yakubu Aiyegbeni, who was the first.
In 2002, Aiyegbeni guided Maccabi Haifa to a 3-0 win against Olympiacos and held the record, albeit in the tournament proper.
