Paul Onauchu has attracted the attention of Europe’s elite clubs following his brilliant performances for Racing Genk in the Belgian Jupiler League.
The Super Eagles striker was voted the overall best player in Belgium after netting 33 goals for the Smurfs to emerge the top scorer in the Jupiler League last season.
According to a report via Soccernet, after expressing interest in signing the Nigerian, Italian giants Fiorentina have been projected as one of his possible destinations.
The Serie A club wants the €15 million rated Onauchu to replace Dusan Vlahovic who joined Juventus in January.
Fiorentina will be ready to battle the likes of Spanish giants, Atletico Madrid who have also enquired about the availability of the striker in the summer.
Paul Onauchu has netted 21 goals for Racing Genk in all competitions despite being out injured frequently for the Belgian side this campaign.
