The Nigerian Football Federation has been asked to tender an apology to the former coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr by Nigerians the Punch reports.
The three-time African champions had failed in their attempt to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup after they were stunned by Ghana in the play-offs.
Fans have now taken to social media to lambast the Nigerian Football Federation's decision to sack Gernot Rohr.

The Super Eagles had played a goalless draw in the first leg tie in Kumasi and needed to avoid a score draw or a loss to qualify for a fourth consecutive World Cup.

Meanwhile, Supporters of the Super Eagles have called for the sacking of Augustine Eguavoen after he failed to qualify Nigeria for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
According to Goal, fans have asked Eguavoen to resign or be fired while others labeled him as the worst ever manager to have handled the national team.
