The camp of the Super Eagles continues to bubble as 23 players have arrived for the double-header against Ghana including Leicester City winger Ademola Lookman.
Nigeria Football Federation confirmed that the 24-year-old who recently switched allegiance from England to Nigeria has arrived the team’s camp in Abuja.
The former England youth player Ademola Lookman got his application to switch nationality from England to Nigeria approved by the world’s football governing body, FIFA last month.
Lookman who featured for England Under-19 and Under-21 youth international was also part of the squad that won the Under-20 World Cup in 2017.
He could not break into the Three Lions' squad and he has now followed the paths of Nigerian international Alex Iwobi and Joe Aribo who both earlier featured for England youth teams.
Lookman was born to Nigerian parents as he grew up in Peckham. Other stars who took time to swap their nationalities from England to Nigeria include Sone Aluko, Victor Moses, Shola Ameobi, and Ola Aina.
And in a clip shared on social media by the Nigeria football house, Lookman announced his arrival in Yoruba. He said: “Naija mo ti de”.

Ahmed Musa speaks ahead of first leg
Meanwhile, Sports Brief earlier reported that the captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Ahmed Musa, has disclosed that he and his colleagues will go all out when they face Ghana at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Nigeria go head-to-head against Ghana and the winner of the two-legged affair on aggregates will pick one of the five tickets to represent Africa at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Super Eagles camp has been thrown open at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja and 23 are already in camp ahead of the first leg.
