Victor Osimhen can become one of the best strikers in the world if he truly plays to his potential says Napoli coach Luciano Spalleti.

Osimhen has scored a total of six league goals for Napoli this season despite missing much of the current campaign due to injury.

The 23-year-old striker joined Napoli from French club Lille in 2019 and has gone on to establish himself as one of the top marksmen in the Italian Serie A after scoring 10 goals in his debut season.

According to a report via Complete Sports, Napoli manager, Luciano Spaletti stated that he is excited about what the former Lille striker can become in the future.

“Osimhen? If Koulibaly is scary, he is stratospheric. I don't understand how far he can get, but the thought of what he can become excites me.

"The future possibilities makes me curious. He must understand where he can get to in the future."

Meanwhile, Luciano Spalletti has hailed Victor Osimhen’s contribution as Napoli held European heavyweights Barcelona to a 1-1 draw at the Camp Nou.
