Newcastle United are currently targeting Super Eagles left-back Zaidu Sanusi as the Premier League club aims to start rebuilding its team ahead of next season.
The Magpies are presently battling with relegation in the English top-flight but have already started preparations for the 2022/23 season.
According to a report via Soccernet, Newcastle United has now added the 2.9billion Naira valued Zaidu Sanusi to their list of targets.
Zaidu Sanusi presently plays for FC Porto in Portugal and has been the first choice left-back since he joined the Portuguese club three years ago.
The Super Eagles defender who still has three years on his current contract with Porto will battle for a starting shirt with current Magpies defenders Matt Ritchie, Matt Target, and Paul Dummet.
