Royal AM striker Victor Letsoalo has set his sights on a move away from Royal AM in the January transfer window.

The Bafana Bafana striker has been with the club since 2017 when they were still playing as Bloemfontein Celtic.

Reports indicate that Letsoalo will hand in a transfer request in January when the transfer window opens. Victor's contract with Royal AM expires in June 2022, KickOff confirmed.

Royal AM would hate to lose their star striker during the season though, after their great start to top-flight football.

Royal AM club president Shauwn Mkhize did confirm to Daily Sun that they would consider selling Victor Letsoalo if a club made them an offer that they couldn't refuse.

“I don’t see us losing Letsoalo in the middle of the season,” said MaMkhize. “But it has to be an offer that we cannot refuse. For us at this time we want to build a team. You can’t build stability and you are breaking it (the team) up at the same time, it is not what we want to do,” she said.

Letsoalo has been in excellent form for club and country. During this season alone, he has already scored nine goals in 15 games. He also notched up two assists for the team.

Fans are already hoping and praying that their team is the first to seal Letsoalo's signature if he does move.

Shauwn Mkhize set to trim the salary fat at Royal AM in the new year

Royal AM will look to tighten the belt in a cost-cutting exercise at the beginning in the new year, Sports Brief earlier reported.

MaMkhize's charges appear to be feeling a financial pinch and only the offloading of playing personnel can ease the pressure. This was revealed amid rumours that the club had a higher-than-acceptable wage bill.

The report stated that Royal AM's squad is heaving with over 45 players on its roster. This is because owner Shauwn Mkhize bought out Bloemfontein Celtic and the team's players had to be incorporated with Royal AM's squad.
