Shauwn Mkhize and her Royal AM side proved that there is more to their lives than just football
The KwaZulu-Natal side used their weekend to spread hope and joy to the people of the province.
As reported by KickOff, Thwihli Thwahla visited three locations around KZN with a truckload of groceries, assisting communities devastated by the flooding in the province.
Approximately 435 people were killed in the floods while over 41 000 were affected by the disaster. With death and destruction rife in the province as a result of the floods, MaMkhize’s side showed the softer sides by donating groceries to the community. Members of the team, technical squad and even management were all part of the initiative.
MaMkhize also took to her Instagram account to share photos and a special video from the day, adding how fulfilling it was to be able to give back and make a difference.
Royal AM have an important fixture coming up in the DStv Premiership and giving back to the less fortunate may have been the best way to recharge their batteries before the big game. Royal AM plays Maritzburg United, knowing that they are fighting for second place on the log with Cape Town City. Eric Tinkler’s side are only a point behind the KZN outfit.
MaMkhize also dropped a video on social media, urging her boys to ‘level-up’.

The Urus is valued at approximately R4,5 million. He has also been spotted with a Rolls-Royce Cullinan and a Mercedes Maybach.
Shauwn Mkhize has often taken to her Instagram to pose with luxury vehicles such as the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Mercedes Maybach S-Class, BMW i8 and a Mercedes G63, Sports Brief earlier reported.
