  • The 37-year-old has been linked to a mega money move to Saudi Arabian outfit Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Real Madrid's Valdebebas training centre as he continues his search for a new club.

Ronaldo, who departed Madrid four seasons ago, trained on a separate pitch as he puts himself through the paces, waiting for a new chapter in the twilight of his career.

The 37-year-old entered the ongoing World Cup as a free agent on the back of an explosive interview with British broadcaster Piers Morgan, which led to the mutual termination of his contract with Manchester United.

He has been linked with a lucrative deal to Saudi Arabia club Al Nassr, a move which Ronaldo himself has denied.

According to the Spanish publication Relovo and relayed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the embattled Portuguese superstar was allowed to train at Los Blancos' facility thanks to a great relationship with the club.

Ronaldo will train at the complex in Valdebebas complex until his future is decided, GOAL reports.

Al Nassr coach praises Ronaldo

Al Nassr manager Rudi Garcia has spoken for the first time on the numerous reports linking Ronaldo to his club.

The veteran, currently a free agent, will have no choice but to focus on looking for a new club after Portugal exited the World Cup in Qatar, after a painful quarter-final defeat to Morocco.

The 37-year-old went into the tournament on the back of the interview with Piers Morgan, where he comprehensively slammed Manchester United, its owners, and club manager Erik ten Hag.

Ibrahimovic blasts Ronaldo, ten Hag

Sports Brief earlier reported that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admonished Ronaldo and Erik ten Hag after their bitter fallout last month.

The Portuguese star and the Dutch manager were on different pages since the latter's appointment. Their differences culminated in the explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

Ibrahimovic has now suggested that both Ronaldo and ten Hag are being economical with the truth about what really happened between them.
