Real Madrid’s top personalities are trying to get German midfielder, Toni Kroos to renew his contract with the Spanish champions for one more year.
Kroos’ current deal with Los Blancos runs out at the end of the season and the 32-year-old midfielder had hinted at retiring from football when his contract runs out.
According to Football Espana, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has let Kroos know how valued he is and explained that the moment he wants to negotiate, his door is open.
Kroos has become an integral member of the Real Madrid team since joining Los Blancos from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich for just €25million.

The German midfielder has also won 4 UEFA Champions League titles with Real Madrid, adding to the first one he won while with Bayern in 2013.
Tchouameni wants Kroos to stay
Meanwhile, French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is hoping Kroos will decide to extend his contract with Real Madrid, after talks of him retiring were revealed, Marca reports.
Tchouameni has acknowledged that playing with the former Germany star helps him grow and that doing so makes adjusting to the new environment simpler.
Tchouameni has formed a great partnership in the heart of Real Madrid’s midfield alongside Kroos and veteran Croatian Luka Modric.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Toni Kroos has reached a milestone in Spanish football. The German midfielder celebrated his 250th appearance in La Liga, and spectacularly marked the occasion.
Kroos made his debut in La Liga by coming on as a substitute against Córdoba in 2014, and made his 250th appearance against Barcelona in the first competitive El Clasico of the season.
