Karim Benzema wore special edition boots in honour of his Ballon d'Or award, during Real Madrid's away fixture at Elche on Wednesday night.
Benzema deservedly received the Ballon d'Or prize on the back of his splendid 2021-22 season, which culminated in the La Liga and Champions League double.
Following his crowning moment on Monday, October 17, Adidas honoured Benzema’s award with his very own pair of signature boots, presenting the X Speedportal in a regal look worthy of the win.
The 34-year-old, who sported the boots against Elche, was among the goal scorers as Real Madrid brushed aside the lowly-placed club at the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero.

More about Benz's special boots
According to Soccer Bible, the boots come with a luxurious look - a white base plays host to an overlaid gold graphic that stretches across the upper.
The gold continues on the underside, with a chrome finish transitioning from heel to forefoot, where the studs carry the golden hues.
The heel then features a final sign-off in the form of a stylised version of the name 'Benzema', with a golden ball that denotes the Ballon d’Or sitting above.
Benzema scores first goal as Ballon d'Or holder
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Karim Benzema marked his Ballon d'Or success with a goal, as Real Madrid thrashed lowly-placed Elche on Wednesday night.
Benzema found the back of the net on three occasions. However, two goals were ruled out for offside as Los Blancos continued their unbeaten start to the season.
The 34-year-old broke the game's deadlock after just six minutes, but his celebration was short-lived after the VAR ruled his goal out for offside play.
