Federico Santiago Valverde Dipetta is undoubtedly a superstar of the future.
The Real Madrid midfielder, who is more commonly known as Fede Valverde, has had an excellent start to the season and earned the plaudits of his manager, Carlo Ancelotti.
As reported by Managing Madrid, Ancelotti believes that Valverde has the quality to score a lot of goals in a season.
“If you can’t get a player like that to score at least 10 goals in a season then you should rip up your coaching badge and retire,” he said.

Ancelotti made the comments after Madrid’s victory against RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League. Valverde scored one of Los Blancos’ two goals in the game.
Who is Federico Santiago Valverde Dipetta?
While Valverde is now becoming a household name with the La Liga champions, not many knew of him before.
The 24-year-old is a Uruguayan footballer who plays as a central midfielder. He also has the ability to play in defensive midfield as well as a right winger and right-back, Wikipedia stated.
He started his youth career with Peñarol in Uruguay, where he soon impressed. He then moved over to the first team and soon attracted interest from Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea, and Real Madrid.
In 2015 he was signed to Real Madrid and assigned to the B squad. He only cost Madrid €5 million at that stage.

After signing for Los Blancos, Valverde was sent out on loan to Deportivo La Coruña for one year. He made just 24 league appearances for the side, but they were relegated at the end of the season.
Valverde returned to Madrid’s B team after his loan expired and soon impressed once again.
He was promoted to the first team and made his debut in October 2018 against Viktoria Plzeň in the UEFA Champions League. He was only 20 at the time.
Becoming a Real Madrid star
Valverde has since gone on to become a regular in the first team at Madrid. As noted by Transfermarkt, Valverde has played 156 games for the La Liga champions. He’s scored nine goals and notched up 10 assists. Liverpool reportedly tried to sign the player during the recent transfer window.
