Eden Hazard replaced him at the 30-minute mark, leaving Madrid with a serious conundrum.

Los Blancos did not invest in a new striker in the transfer window and don’t have an out-and-out replacement for Benzema on the bench.

Karim Benzema: Real reason revealed why Real Madrid striker bandages right hand before football games

If you’ve watched Karim Benzema play in the past three years, it’s hard not to notice his bandaged right hand during games.

The iconic bandaged hand has become synonymous with the player and takes centre stage during his fist pump goal celebration.

Benzema’s bandages have become so iconic that it even features in the FIFA video games as well. While many have seen the striker’s hand bandaged during the game, not many know the actual reason.

Toni Kroos' prediction comes true as Real Madrid defeat Celtic with stunning second half performance

Toni Kroos wasn’t afraid of the threat Celtic posed in the Champions League and actually predicted the outcome of the match to a tee.

Speaking ahead of the game, Kroos said that Madrid had nothing to fear because they were used to soaking up the pressure away from home and would find a way to score when the other team had tired themselves out.

That was exactly the case when the Spanish champions travelled to Celtic Park to take on the Scottish champions.
