Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Marco Asensio is considering leaving the club this summer.
Asensio has been linked with a potential move to Manchester United in recent weeks, and is ready to join the Red Devils who are willing to pay €30m for him.
The Spanish international is looking to follow in the footsteps of his ex-teammate Casemiro out of the door in the search for first-team minutes.
In an interview with Spanish publication Relevo, Ancelotti admitted that the 26-year-old wants to leave Santiago Bernabeu.

“Marco is looking at things to see if he can leave,” the Italian manager said, quoted by AS.
“If he doesn’t leave, he will 100% be a Madrid player,” added Ancelotti, maintaining that he would get game time if that was the case.
Newcastle are said to have also expressed an interest in the player. Liverpool and Arsenal are also said to be monitoring the player's situation.
Asensio still has one year left on his present deal with the La Liga champions but Florentino Perez could be willing to cash in now rather than risk losing him for free next summer.
