Vinicius Junior has made an odd request to Jurgen Klopp ahead of the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid.
The two giants of Europe meet on May 28 in the penultimate game of the season as both sides seek to clinch the crown of kings of the continent.
For Real Madrid, it is a chance to win a trophy the club is all too familiar with for the first time since 2018.
Liverpool last lifter the trophy in 2019 in what was a remarkable season for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The final in France will be a repeat of the 2018 edition, with Liverpool out for revenge against the Spanish giants.
Ahead of the game, Vinicius Junior urged Jurgen Klopp to start his best side for the clash.
"Hopefully they play with all of them. We want an amazing match between two teams with all their players. With 100 per cent concentration. And both fighting for the most important thing, which is the Champions League,” Vinicius said as quoted by The Mirror.
Liverpool have a number of key injury concerns, and Klopp could possibly start with a fairly weakened team.
Mo Salah picked up a minor knock, while Van Dijk, Fabinho and more recently, Thiago Alcantara have all had issues in recent weeks.
But despite the injury concerns on the opponents, Vinicius is well aware the threat Liverpool poses based on their playing style.
"We watch a lot of Liverpool games. They are a great team with a lot of strength and a lot of intensity. If we match that against them... we will win for sure." He added.
Southampton's Ralph Hasenhuttl believes winning the Premier League is harder than winning the Champions League
FootballNotably, the forward has been integral for Real Madrid’s superb run in the Champions League this season, and scored a crucial goal in the semi-final tie against Manchester City to help force a comeback in the second leg.
Liverpool players use special equipment
Meanwhile in Liverpool, the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kostas Tsimikas were spotted wearing brain sensors in Liverpool training as preparations for the Champions League final continue
According to the pioneer of the device, the piece of technology gathers data that helps to tailor individual training programmes.
Klopp is said to have approached the German scientists over enhancing setpiece taking ability of his side. That seems to have worked with Alexander-Arnold being a constant menace on pinpoint deliveries.
