Roberto Carlos was caught jaw-dropping after watching a young footballer recreate his astonishing goal against France in 1997.

The Brazil legend scored one of the greatest ever goals in the game after his stunning freekick took a sensational curve on its way to beating France goalkeeper Fabian Barthez.

In a video posted on social media, spotted by Sports Brief, the young baller showed Carlos a footage of his strike, leaving the former Real Madrid star stunned.

Roberto Carlos could not believe anybody could ever produce that freekick, but the youngster from constant practice replicated that goal.

However, it was from his personal practice and not from a competitive game as in Carlos' case.

The legendary left-back is revered as one of the greatest left footers to have ever played the game, having won several titles including the 2002 UEFA Champions League.
