Messi's contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in the summer and while renewal talks have been ongoing, no final agreement has been reached.
According to Goal, Saudi Pro League side, Al-Hilal are now seeking to poach the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner with a massive contract worth €220 million per year, to come and join his rival in the Middle East.
The club wants Messi to replace Ronaldo as the face of Saudi Arabian football and is willing to sign him to a one-year mega-deal.
