And the France superstar wasted no time with his ensuing finish, dribbling past the Brest goalkeeper with ease before slotting calmly into an empty net.
Messi's latest moment of magic in laying on Mbappe marks another staggering career milestone, as the Argentine phenomenon becomes the first player to ever rack up 300 assists at club level.
