Christophe Galtier who is the gaffer of Paris Saint-Germain has explained that France international Kylian Mbappe has congratulated Lionel Messi for winning the World Cup.
It was a tough day for Mbappe and his teammates in the French national team as they were beaten by Argentina on penalties in the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Amazingly, Mbappe scored hat-trick in regulation time before the game was dragged into shootouts after it ended 3-3 with Messi netting brace.
How did the penalty end?
Argentine goalkeeper Emi Martinez saved two penalties that helped his country to win the game 4-2 and handed Messi the trophy for the first time in his career.

After the encounter, Mbappe was sad as the former Monaco striker wanted to win the title again for the second time.
It will be recalled that Mbappe was in the French squad that won the World Cup in 2018 beating Croatia in the final.
What was said by Galtier
According to the report on GOAL and Marca, Galtier explained that there is no trouble between Messi and Mbappe during and after the World Cup.
''They shook hands, and Kylian had an exemplary attitude after suffering defeat.
"He congratulated both Leo and Lionel Scaloni. That's what matters to me."

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how France forward Kylian Mbappe shared his pearl of wisdom with his younger sibling Ethan, who made his senior debut for Paris Saint-Germain in a friendly last week.

Returning to training just days after his World Cup heartache in Qatar, Kylian trained alongside Ethan, who impressed during PSG's recent friendlies.
