Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi in 2020 sent Christmas packages to 160 players including 13 playing in the English Premier League as sign of love.

The former Barcelona captain is currently the man of the moment having recently won the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with Argentina beating France in the final.

It was also the first time that Messi will be winning the World Cup after after five attempts and many fans on earth are still celebrating his success.

According to the report on Sports Bible, it has been revealed that Messi offered out personalised beer bottles in 2022 to the 160 keepers he had scored past since 2005 to mark the Christmas celebration.

Diego Alves, formally of Valencia, received 21 bottles, with former Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas getting 17 and former Chelsea, Atletico and current Real Madrid shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois receiving nine.

Sports Brief also reported how Lionel Messi seems to be continuing with his post-World Cup glory celebrations, at least going by his social media activity - days after he won the tournament.

The Paris Saint-Germain star was pivotal in Argentina's World Cup journey in Qatar, scoring seven goals during the tournament.

Messi has since been in a celebratory mood and was recently pictured having a nap with the trophy in bed.
