France international Ousmane Dembele has saluted Lionel Messi ahead of the 2022 World Cup final claiming that the Paris Saint-Germain star made him fall in love playing for Barcelona.
Dembele joined Barcelona in 2017 from Borussia Dortmund and played alongside Messi for four seasons before the Argentine moved to PSG.
So far at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Dembele has been incredible for France and the French people will be relying on him and other teammates to shine in the final.
Out of his respect for Messi, Dembele claimed that the former Barcelona captain deserves to win the World Cup adding that they also want to win it again.

When is the final?
Argentina will go head to head with France in the final of the 2022 World Cup on Sunday, 17 December, which is expected to be a big battle.
The game will also be Messi's last appearance in the World Cup and the Argentine will want to end up winning the title.
This will be the second time that Messi will be reaching the final of the World Cup.
