Paris Saint-Germain trainer Christophe Galtier believes Kylian Mbappe is on the same level as teammates Neymar and Lionel Messi.

The fearsome trident - Neymar, Mbappe and Messi - have had a blistering start to the season, firing PSG to the summit of the French Ligue 1 and securing a knockout berth in the Champions League.

PSG's dreaded attacking trio have scored a combined 46 goals across all competitions this season, and will play a pivotal role as Les Parisiens chase the elusive UEFA Champions League crown this term.

Despite the eye-catching statistics and perfect synchronization in favour of the trio, there have been cracks in their relationship with Mbappe and Neymar locked in a continuous rift.

Averaging a goal every 89 minutes as noted by Transfermarkt, Mbappe's performance has been downplayed in comparison with Messi and Neymar, but coach Galtier reckons all three of his superstar attack are on the same level.

''Kylian is at the same level as all the other players. On the same level as Leo Messi who has an incredible career, who is the greatest player in the history of football. Kylian is on the same level as Neymar,'' Galtier said as quoted by GOAL.
