Brazilian forward, Neymar was visibly upset with the officiating in Paris Saint-German’s 1-1 draw with Benfica in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
Lionel Messi had given PSG a 1-0 lead with a superb curling effort but a Danilo own goal ensured both teams shared the points to remain unbeaten in Group H.
According to Daily Mirror, Neymar appeared to have been aggrieved with centre referee Miguel Ortiz Arias after the game, as the Brazilian appeared to whisper something under his breath to the referee.
The centre referee responded by holding onto Neymar’s hand for probably longer than expected during the end-of-game handshake, prompting the Brazilian to react angrily to being pulled back.

Neymar had earlier been booked for a foul on Benfica’s Florentino Luis, which may have prompted the heated exchange between both parties at the end of the game.

Meanwhile, Brazilian forward Neymar hopes to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup ahead of Paris Saint-Germain teammate Kylian Mbappe, Marca reports.
Mbappe has set a target of winning the competition back-to-back after emerging as champion for the 2018 edition with France.
Both Neymar and Mbappe will be playing key roles for Brazil and France respectively when the 2022 FIFA World Cup kicks off in November.
