FootballThe French Football Federation needs money and KFC agrees to pay to have an image of what we are paying for. He is committed with the Federation to produce a collective image with each time at least four other players. We're going to stop paying and then that's it,"
Mbappe refused to take part in a promotional campaign with the national team earlier this week as he did not want to endorse some brands including fast food chains and betting companies that have deals with the federation.
However, the federation had previously clarified that it was seeking to make changes to the images rights that was causing a rift between Mbappe and the football body.
Beral added that FFF must honour the deal.
We are going to follow this very closely because there is no question of having signed a contract which is not respected.
This issue has disrupted France's preparation for the Nations League and the World Cup in Qatar which starts in November. According to Reuters, KFC France has distanced itself from Beral's comments.

FootballThe partnership between KFC and the French Football Federation (FFF) has always been a source of pride for the company. KFC France has every confidence in the FFF's ability to find satisfactory solutions for all of its partners and players, including Kylian Mbappe, whose supporters we are among the first in France.
Sports Brief earlier reported on Kylian Mbappe's refusal to participate in the team's photoshoot due to a squabble over image rights with the federation.
Mbappe remains one of the biggest stars in world football and has been inflexible regarding image rights. France's intention to revise the agreement demonstrates the crucial influence Mbappe has on the team.
