Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé has refused to rule out the possibility of joining Real Madrid despite snubbing the Spanish giants to extend his stay with the Parisians earlier in the summer.

Mbappé was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer but opted to sign a lucrative three-year contract extension with PSG.

The Frenchman's decision to stay with the French champions ruffled a lot of feathers in Madrid, with the reigning European champions feeling misled by the player over his intentions of joining the club and that they wasted a significant amount of time in pursuing his signature.

Madrid club president, Florentino Perez, however has left the door open for the 23-year-old to join Los Blancos in the future but stressed he 'didn't want' the current version of Mbappe, reports the Mirror.

When quizzed about his links to Real, Mbappe told the New York Times via GOAL: “You never know what is going to happen. I've never been there but it seems like it's my house or something.”

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Hugo Sanchez, a bona fide legend of Real Madrid, is confident Kylian Mbappé will eventually join the Spanish champions in the future.
