Paris Saint Germain superstar Neymar achieved an enviable feat on Wednesday, August 31 with his seventh goal of the season in the 3-0 win over Toulouse.

The Parisians continued their dominant start to the Ligue 1 as they saw off their opponents with a comprehensive performance at the Stadium TFC.

It was Neymar who opened the scoring in the 37th minute for his side after some superb build-up play to give is side the lead, with his long time friend Lionel Messi getting the assist.

Five minutes into the second half, Mbappe doubled the lead as he tapped in from Messi’s cutback for his fifth league goal of the season.

The result was put beyond doubt when Juan Bernat found the net from close range in stoppage time to end the home side’s hopes of mounting a comeback.

Neymar’s feat

Neymar, 30, has been in excellent form so far this campaign.

Prior to the beginning of the season, the Brazilian went on record vowing to show a different side to him this campaign, and he is definitely living up to his word.

His goal on Wednesday took his overall tally for PSG to 109, making him the fourth highest scorer for the club after overtaking Pedro Miguel Pauleta.

As per Transfermkt, Edinson Cavani currently leads those charts as he notched 200 goals for the club, and he is followed by Kylian Mbappe with 176 goals.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic comes in third on that list as he scored 156 goals for the French club before moving on to Manchester United in 2016.
