Football fans have reacted sharply to a video doing rounds on social media showing Neymar falling in the penalty area with close to no touch from the opponent.

Neymar was in action for Paris Saint-Germain on Monday afternoon in a preseason friendly against Gamba Osaka in Japan.

The Brazilian star scored twice, with one coming from the spot. The decision to award the penalty has since come under sharp scrutiny, with replays showing that he went down without touching, commonly known as diving.

Pablo Sarabia had given PSG the lead before Neymar went down in the box and converted the resultant penalty. It is not the first time that Neymar has been accused of diving, with the 2018 World Cup still fresh in the minds of fans.
