Brazil midfielder Casemiro has claimed Real Madrid are interested in Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar if the French champions are willing to let go of the ex-Barcelona ace.

Neymar is reportedly unwanted at PSG as the club seeks to veer away from the 'bling bling' approach it used following the takeover by Qatar Sports Investment in 2011.

The Brazilian superstar swapped Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain for a world record fee of 222 million euros in 2017 but has so far fallen short of the expected demands of carrying the club to Champions League glory.

Despite having more than two years left on his current deal with the Parisians, Neymar's future at the club remains uncertain.

Sharing his opinion about the future of his compatriot at the Parc des Princes, Casemiro suggested Real Madrid would be more than willing to secure the services of Neymar if he is no longer needed in Paris.

“Neymar can play for any team in the world. If PSG doesn't want him, Real Madrid wants him. Okay?” the Brazilian midfielder told SporTV via 90 Min.

This is not the first time Real Madrid has flirted with the idea of signing Neymar with the Spanish giants trying at various points in Neymar's career to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
