Paris Saint-Germain’s hunt for a new manager continues.
Mauricio Pochettino remains the manager of the French champions but many believe that his days are numbered at the club.
PSG were interested in acquiring the services of AS Roma manager José Mourinho but now appear to have given up that idea.
Renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano instead said that the club have identified Christophe Galtier as their number one target. Galtier is the current manager of OGC Nice.
Pochettino though remains defiant and doesn’t think he’s done a bad job at the French club.
As reported by The Daily Mail, Pochettino said that his side's season was just as successful as Manchester City's was in England because because both teams won their domestic leagues.
'PSG are desperate to win the Champions League. The goal is to win it and it is normal for troubles to occur, but we overcame them by winning the Championship just as City won it in England,' he said.
While the club continues to hunt for a potential new manager, they are yet to officially part ways with Pochettino.
