- PSG recently crashed out of the Champions League, and Neymar was among the superstars who were heavily criticized for the loss
A series of damaging allegations have been placed on Neymar in terms of his conduct at Paris Saint Germain amid reports of a ‘fracture’ within the team.
Neymar has taken the brunt of criticism at the French club in recent weeks, particularly after the club’s dramatic exit from the Champions League in the last 16.
In the first match since PSG’s Champions League exit, Neymar was jeered by his own fans alongside Lionel Messi, and the 30-year old could not inspire his team to perform in their latest game - a 3-0 humbling at the hands of Monaco.
As per SportBible and Marca, Neymar has now also drawn criticism from renowned journalist Daniel Riolo, who sensationally slammed Neymar’s conduct.
“He never trains”
According to the Riolo who spoke to RMC Sport via Marca, Neymar 'hardly trains' and arrives at PSG training 'almost drunk'.
"Neymar hardly trains anymore, he arrives in a sorry state, almost drunk.
"That's the way it is, Neymar is in a spirit of revenge against PSG."
He continues to say that Neymar was “doing damage to the club”.
"We have to sign his check and let him go. He's doing a lot of damage to the club. Let him go, he is ruining PSG."
Neymar, despite being fit for a large chunk of the campaign so far, has only managed five goals in all competitions.
His current contract runs until 2025, but reports have it that PSG could be willing to let him go sooner.
