Lionel Messi is ready to end his adventure in France and is already considering a return to the Spanish La Liga with Barcelona.

The Argentine striker has struggled to adapt since joining PSG last summer and has scored just twice in the Ligue 1 in 18 appearances.

According to a report via Sportskeeda, the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner is ready to accept a massive pay cut and take home the lowest salary allowed by La Liga to rejoin Barcelona.

The 34-year-old Argentine's contract with the French giants runs until 2023, but he might be tempted to join fellow teammates Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria is seeking a move away from PSG.

Messi alongside other PSG stars were booed by PSG fans following the club's early exit from the UEFA Champions League by Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, PSG Star, Neymar has beaten teammate Lionel Messi to the highest earner gong in the French Ligue 1.

According to the Daily Mail, Neymar is pocketing around £3.4million a month before tax. This equates to a yearly gross salary of just under £41m a year.

Lionel Messi is second on the list dominated by PSG players as the Argentine now makes around £34m-per-year at the French giants.
