Football"Glory Halelujah!": Fans Celebrate as Peprah Finally Scores for Pirates
- Orlando Pirates' under-fire striker Kwame Peprah finally opened his account for the Sea Robbers
- Peprah had gone more than 11 hours without scoring for his new team since signing on from King Faisal Babes in the Ghanaian Premier League.
- Having become the subject of derision, it appears Peprah might have just started winning supporters over after his performance
Under-fire Orlando Pirates striker Kwame Peprah finally broke his duck with a brace for the club in the DStv Premiership.
The Ghanaian sniper was on the scoresheet as the Buccaneers edged Marumo Gallants 2-1 at Orlando Stadium to climb into second place on the log table. He had gone more than 11 hours without finding the back of the net since signing on from King Faisal Babes in the Ghanaian Premier League.
His bluntness in front of goals had become something of a punchline for football fans, but it appears that the striker has won a lot of them back over.
