As the uproar over the necessity of Orlando Pirates' junior team's indulgence in showboating continues, a man of the football law has had his say.
Andile 'Ace' Ncobo gave his take on how 'kasi flava' is governed within the rules of the game as per FIFA.
Speaking to Thomas Mlambo on SuperSport's Extra Time, "VAR" said:
"For every decision that the referee makes on the field of play, whether to play the whistle, not to blow the whistle or show a card or not, you must find expression of that decision in the laws of the game. If you are going to come to me and say that you are cautioning a player for showboating because you deem it as unsportsmanlike behaviour, then let's go to the laws of the game. Show me that. It's a coaching issue.
