The Nigerian is helping the Italian club fight on two fronts. They are 18 points clear of second-placed Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A table with 12 goals to go in the season.
Last night, he scored twice in the 3-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt to help Napoli progress to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League 5-0 on aggregate, the first time in the history of the club, according to Sky Sports.
Osimhen tight-lipped over his future
The former Lille striker speaking to Sport1 after the match, was quoted by Football Italia expressing his thoughts on questions regarding Napoli's potential Scudetto victory.

“I am proud of what I am doing and what we are doing. I think I’m one of the strongest strikers in the world. I thank those who praise me and those who believe in me. But I can still grow in some aspects,” he said.
According to BBC Sports, the powerful striker is linked to top European clubs, especially the Premier League duo of Manchester United and Chelsea, but he remains coy about his future.
“I don’t know what will happen, but I’m on the right path. At the end of the season, I will sit down with my agents, and we will discuss things. And then I’ll be in negotiations with Napoli, to whom I‘m grateful. Together we’ll find a solution,” he said.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Victor Osimhen made the day of Nigerian journalist Oma Akatugba after he handed him his UCL MOTM award to have a feel of it.
The pair have been friends since the striker's struggling days in VfL Wolfsburg, shortly after winning the golden boot at the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup.
Akatugba, who could not hide his joy, shared the video on his social platforms, and they have since gone viral.
