Manu Garba who is the head coach of the Nigerian Under 17 side has expressed optimism that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen can become the first Nigerian to win the Ballon d'Or.
In the history of the Nigerian football, no player present or past has ever won the Ballon d'Or award and even Liberian President, George Weah, remains the only African to have won it.
Osimhen has been firing in all cylinders this this at Napoli with the Nigerian already winning the hearts of the fans at his club.
The Nigerian is also leading the goalscoring chart with 16 goals in the Serie A and has the chance to win the Golden Boot at the end of the season.

Spoke Brief spoke with Osimhen's former coach in the Nigerian Under 17 team, Garba, who explained that he is proud of the Super Eagles star.
It will be recalled that Garba and Osimhen won the FIFA Under 17 World Cup together in 2015.
