Inzaghi told TuttoNapoli:
“If we think of Napoli, Osimhen is a true centre-forward. He attacks deep and keeps the ball. Osimhen is probably the best right now, beyond Benzema, who is less of an area centre forward however, and perhaps than Giroud."
Last season, the Nigerian international managed 27 Italian top flight appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing two assists.
Osimhen continues scoring
Meanwhile, Osimhen continued his scoring form when he netted in Napoli’s 3-1 friendly win over Crystal Palace.
The match, which was played in Turkey, saw the Italian league leaders come from a goal down to claim victory.
The 23-year-old superbly controlled a cross with his chest and lifted the ball over a Palace player, before volleying into the far corner.
