English Premier League club Manchester United are still interested in Victor Osimhen after missing out on the Nigerian international this summer.
It was gathered that the Red Devils are still determined to land the Napoli striker and have set their sights on the January transfer window.
There had been talks of a possible swap deal involving the 23-year-old and Cristiano Ronaldo, but such only ended as a rumour.
Following the arrival of Erik ten Hag, Manchester United managed to sign six players, but now they are considering a return to the transfer market.

Further reports vis Express claim United believe the central striker position needs to be strengthened more than the midfield position.
As the club failed to get a good signing during the summer transfer window, Marcus Rashford, Cristiano Ronaldo, Anthony Martial, and Anthony Elanga are all battling for that position.
So Ten Hag could still go for Napoli striker Osimhen in January. Last month, reports suggested the Italian club wanted €100m plus Ronaldo in return for Osimhen.
Ahmed Musa joins Sivasspor
Meanwhile, Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has left Fatih Karagumruk to join Turkish Super Lig rivals Sivasspor on a two-year deal.
The Nigerian international, who spent one year with Karagumruk, decided to part ways by mutual consent in a bid to move to Sivasspor.
It was gathered Coach Rıza Çalımbay requested the services of the 29-year-old, and a meeting was held on Thursday.
